Duties:
Role:
Responsible for the implementation of the HR Strategy including employee relations with strong emphasis on new and transfer employee onboarding. Follow the credit union mission and member promise statements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging new employee orientation sessions to introduce new hires to our organization's structure and mission fostering a sense of connectedness from day one. | ||
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all necessary onboarding information and documentation. | ||
Finding and distributing employee welcome kits, emailing relevant training links, and collaborating with IT personnel who can assist with hardware and software set up. Collaborate with compliance to ensure the new hires receive training on industry specific regulations, legal requirements and ethical standards. | ||
Develops partnerships with internal staff that enable the Human Resources function to provide appropriate services. | ||
Maintain employee files and records with confidentiality top of mind. | ||
Other job-related duties as assigned. |

3. | Maintain accurate employee information to include an internal employee database and all necessary reports. |

5. | Act as an advocate for change within the credit union work environment, constantly seeking ways to improve and make it more inclusive. |
Additional Desired Attributes:
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience | One year to three years of similar or related experience. |
Education | (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. |
Interpersonal Skills | Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. |
